One day in MH Opera Rambla
If you wake up with the intention to know the city and immerse yourself in the Barcelona life, the best choice is to go to have breakfast outside. Near the apartment there are several places where you can taste the traditional Catalan breakfast: coffee, juice, toasts (with pa amb tomaquet!), a bikini (hot sandwich with ham and cheese), croissants, salted meat, cheese, fruit… it depends on how hungry you are. If you are too sleepy for a walk, we recommend you the Granja Viader (Xuclà 4-6), where you can taste any of these products. But if you like taking a walk, it’s worth to go to the Cafeteria Mistral (Torres i Amat 7): it makes your mouth water by just looking at its window display!
After wandering around, probably you are just thinking about how to plan your meals. Here there are some of our recommendations.
At 300 meters from the MH Opera Rambla there is Mercat de la Boqueria (Las Ramblas 91), where you will find numerous stalls with all kinds of local products. It’s a touristy place, but you will find everything you need if your idea is to cook in the apartment.
If you prefer to be 100% in holiday mood, don’t worry, there are thousands of bars and restaurants in Barcelona. If you want to eat something quick and not wasting any time on your visit to the city, right next to Mercat de la Boqueria you will find the Wok to Walk restaurant (Las Ramblas 95) where, as the name suggests, you can choose your noodles or rice wok and eat along the way.
However, if you prefer to enjoy your meal calmly, it won’t be difficult to find restaurants near the MH Opera Rambla. Some restaurants are located in Las Ramblas but you’ll pay the tourist price, get away from them! Our recommendation: La Biblioteca Gourmande (Junta de Comerç 28), Mediterranean cuisine, a tasty and healthy choice at a good price.

Finally, if you fancy to visit a cultural space not far away of the district, from MH Apartments we recommend you the Museu de la Xocolata (Chocolate Museum), located in carrer del Comerç 36, where the children can enjoy with a lot of activities and the adults can discover the history of bakery and chocolate.
However, if you are more classic and want your holiday to Europe is full of luxurious details provided, then the best option for you is to book a room in Prague or a room in Barcelona that will become your haven of peace.
