It’s Christmas, a time of family gatherings, gifts, enthusiasm and great meals including typical Christmas sweets and desserts. One of the main protagonists is definitely, the nougat.

Families from Jijona village carried loaded carts and tried to sell all their products. It was very common to set up little stands in front of doors of the city homes. Nowadays, we can still find shops that have maintained the tradition of selling this sweets in these ancient stands.
