Spring has arrived in Barcelona and with it the blooming of trees and plants in the city. So from MH Apartments, We bring you closer some of the parks and gardens to enjoy these green areas in all its splendor. Through the five senses; sight, smell, hearing, touch and taste; we have highlighted five parks in which to forget the hustle and bustle of a big city.

Hearing: Parque de la Nova Icària

Parque de la Nova Icària

This park was opened on the occasion of the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992. As its name suggests, this green area in the city runs parallel to the beach Nova Icaria. A good place to walk and, if the weather allows, take a bath. We have highlighted the ear in this park because it is situated next to the beach where you can hear the sound of the waves while the walk lasts.

Smell: Parc de Cervantes

Parc de Cervantes

This park is known for its annual rose competition. Hundreds of people gather to see and smell these beautiful flowers growing in different shapes and colors. Located at one end of Barcelona, 5 minutes walk from Palau Reial, is an oasis of tranquility in the center of Barcelona perfect to disconnect without leaving the city.

Taste: Parque de la Ciutadella

Parc de la Ciutadella

It is one of the largest parks in the city and the entry is free. Many of the buildings were built half of the eighteenth century and its waterfall in the nineteenth century, which represents one of the attractions of the park. We have highlighted taste because one of the proposals that offers this green area are the street food stalls. The Ciutadella Park is also ideal for relaxing with family, the children will have great fun while their parents lay on the grass.

Sight: Turó del Putget Gardens

Turó del Putget

This green area is located in one of the upper districts of the city. From here Barcelona can be seen in 360 degree, discovering the city from all points of view. His varied vegetation and paths create several seating areas to enjoy the views.

Touch: Palau Robert Gardens

Palau Robert Gardens

Located in the Palau Robert, the tourist information center of the city, these gardens are an example of the expansion of the Eixample in its upper part, close to the Avinguda Diagonal. At its inception, the private residence of Robert family, was acquired by the Government in 1981 and opened to the public. The Palau Robert is characterized by touch because of the large number of information leaflets that Palau Robert offers about the city. This space, between Diagonal and Passeig de Gràcia avenue is ideal to rest at some point in the tour around the city.
