The Statue of Liberty in Barcelona

Reflection room of Antoni Tàpies

This emblematic reflection room created by Antoni Tàpies is a space of meditation and reflection for the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in the Ciutadella campus. Tàpies designed a secular chapel: a space with an atmosphere that invites to reflection and own meditation. In addition, the room has a series of artworks selected for the room.

Passatge del Crèdit

This passageway is located in Ciutat Vella neighborhood and it was build in an old convent at the end of 1800. It gets its name because it was promoted by the Sociedad Catalana General del Crédito (General Catalan Society of the Credit). This group of monuments is characteristic for its decorative use, its iron architecture and the wooden roofs. An important fact: the painter Joan Miró was born in the number 4 of this passageway.

This bombshelter was dug out by the neighbors of Poble Sec during the Spanish Civil War in order to protect the population from the bomb attacks. It has 400 meters of tunnels and it had toilets, a nursery or a kids room, among others. “.
